Directory Submission
Hi
Is submitting to a directory worth while and likewise for a directory submission to lots of directories i tried one a few months ago and it has yielded no results is this normal or did i go to a bad directory submission service.

Directory submission is still playing good role in getting some quality backlinks; so that is really heplful tactic. You need to collect good source of directories and that will definitely help you; that is different thing that it takes some time.

Directory listing is helpful ... as it was said  ...
For me, it may take from either one month to 6 months maybe... But i guarantee that it is helpful.

Directory submission is not what it used to be a few years back. Links from directories are not considered of value anymore. In-content links are of more value to both search engines and readers. So, that's why submitting articles to article directories will be more worth your effort.

Submitting directories is fine... But we have to submit lot of directories in that we get very few submission only. But still directory submission is good back link.
If it is dofollow directories means its very fine for us and it must high ranking directory.

Guess all you need to focus on is good directory submissions . They will get you good backlinks as they do play a good role in building backlinking .

I have heard DMOZ is given no greater ranking benefit than other directory links. This is a pain as it is such an effort to get listed with DMOZ. Maybe I won't bother in future!

Submission is important in SEO.A successful submission to DMOZ is really helpful. It just needs quite a long time. But if u make it, it'll be worthy! I think u should stick on submitting,just a matter of time.  |
