DMOZ is painfully slow as new entries are approved by human editors who work at their discretion. Submit your site to DMOZ and forget. Do not submit your link again and gain it will make the whole process slower.

there may be lots of reason for this issue but from my side Just post your link on dmoz according their guideline and forget it for forever

Yes...because dmoz are operated in voluntary basis and I guess your category submitted just have too many websites to be processed. ....

Dmoz directories are the most popular and most reputed directories in search engine. Getting listed in Dmoz might be difficult but it can bring great results.

This is correct. It is very hard to get listed in Dmoz but once you get listed in it, it provides good result for the site.
