Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a style sheet language used to describe the presentation semantics (the look and formatting) of a document written in a markup language. Its most common application is to style web pages written in HTML and XHTML, but the language can also be applied to any kind of XML document, including plain XML, SVG and XUL.

hi, do you want to know about CCS or CSS.CSS defines how HTML elements are to be displayed.Styles are normally saved in external .css files. External style sheets enable you to change the appearance and layout of all the pages in a Web site, just by editing one single file

i think there is a mistake the question is for ccs style sheet may be it is wrong or by default well every one gives the complete and pure definition of style sheet are you all are web designer???

CSS is used to style Web pages. But there is more to it than that. CSS is used to style XHTML and XML markup. This means that anywhere you have XML markup (including XHTML) you can use CSS to define how it will look.

CSS means cascade style sheet which is used to formatting or make design more attractive.it has lot of properties like bg color,left alignment,right alignment and many more.so CSS is better option for formatting a website.
