I think the best thing you can do is to ask the folks in your signature

Joke aside, you can "format" the harddisk... google "format harddisk" and learn a little before proceeding though...

Format is an easy way to erase everything on pc but as far as I know that if we format our pc more and more time then it reduces harddisc's life. Is it right?

Even after formatting your hard drive you can still get data out of if because the hard disk is like a Rewritable CD. You can try LowLevel Format but it is possible to permanently destroy your hard drive.

You can format your HDD by right clicking over it and if it wan't work then go to command promote and after your drive name write format and drive name. It will delete all your data from that HDD partition.

It would be better for to erase everything from hard disk to put it out out and put in a new one! Good luck and for further recommendations ask for the guys from your signature.

You can make the same names of the files which you had deleted, but that would over-write.

So, just "shift+delete" and don't think more about it.

Default re

Let’s take a look at the steps below.
• Step 1: Click on “Start” and then “Shut Down“.
• Step 2: Select “Restart in MS-DOS mode” from the drop-down list and select “OK”.
• Step 3: Once the PC restarts, the command prompt C:\Windows> will appear.
• Step 4: You need to type “CD\” at the command prompt and then press “Enter” on your keyboard. This will change the command prompt to C:\>.
• Step 5: Now type “format c:” and then press “Enter“.
• Step 6: Hit the “Y” key to begin formatting your hard drive.
• Step 7: When prompted enter a volume label and then press “Enter” to assign the default name.
Following the aforementioned steps you can easily erase all information stored on C:\> drive.
