What could be the chepset resource to download videos?

hi! all.

I am trying hard to download videos from you tube and other. I downloaded different type of downloaders but none of them are succelly running or are very slow. Is there any software which is fast and of course compatible. I have windows xp on my pc.

There is number of sites for downloading but on these sites very hard to search video that you want to download. And on Youtube you search quickly your video. So download video from youtube first of all download a software named youtuve downloader, you search it on Google it is free and able to download video from youtube.

There are many sites which offer to download some videos, but they are not free and i advise you not even try to do it in order not to get troubles.

I found this interesting tool http://keepvid.com/. You just post a video url in it and it will give several formats of video to download. It's basic requirement is java plugin.
