You should just improve RW memory. It's easily done by installing new hardware.

Hello Friend,
Remove unneeded startup programs Run a disk cleanup and defragger Clean up the Windows registry. And you can also download software that can do all three of these things automatically. I recommend tying it out and scanning your system for free at: registry-clean-up.net .
Thanks,
James

Some unnecessary processes may cause some delay and to remove all that unnecessary processes click on Run type msconfig command and enter. you will see a tab which includes every single process that your computer is going through just unchecked all the unnecessary processes and restart the machine check if it works or not or otherwise you need to upgrade you RAM.

There are some useless services to disable to increase the speed.
Smart Card / Smart Card Helper
TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service
Uninterruptible Power Supply
Remote Registry service
Error Reporting Service

I installed qukil before but there's no changes at all. I don't belive on such softwares to speed up. All i can suggest is having a high memory, updated anti-virus and clearing cache and cookies, that will definitely helps you speed up your pc.a

I would try simply getting rid of a lot of the rubbish that starts with the computer, you can do this by going into all the little icons that are down by the clock and untick the box that says "start with windows" or similar. The other way is to delete the link from the "start up" folder in your start menu. also, go into add/remove programs and get rid of anything that isn't required.
Then try to clean up some hard drive space and do a defrag. Can't do any harm and wont cost you a cent.

Removing files and programs that are no longer needed and then defraging on a regular interval will help make your PC run faster. Also you might need additional RAM if you are a heavy user.

Yes i think this is the general and a very good answer to speedup any computer and after that if it working slowly then one should take a backup of his/her data from computer and and format the computer and again start with the fresh computer, because sometimes some strong viruses can cause for the slow system.

Making yr pc light!
howdy!
why not making yr pc/laptop light?unintalling the unwanted softs off from yr pc.and for the antivirus software,I'd choose the one fit me and my laptop, with its all-time guard,my laptop would run fast and well,my choice is the KIS2009,for I can set the rules on it.
by the way, good setting of the KIS or the kaspersky would keep yr pc run fast and well enough,or it'd be slow and annoying you with many notices, and with a high cpu and ram rate;so and as for my friend Tony's old laptop,my suggestion would be the spydig(full-time guard) and Avg of the green edition(as the part-time),ccleaner for remains and junk files in the drivers.
anyway,fit yr taste by yourself.
good luck,thx

well, if u r a newbie, then choose a freeware to clean your computer Junk and manage your computer startups. Choose the tool that suits your level of technical expertise. otherwise, Before using any registry cleaner or junk file cleaner, I highly recommend that you create a System Restore restore point, and even better, do a full registry backup. you can try winmate, ccleaner, 360 etc. they r 4 free.
