Default best bet for a external hd

im in the market for a external hard drive and was wondering what would be the best route to go, I just need more room to store some media files its my litttle sister's comp. So she doesnt need much, what would you guys recomened?

i am recomending you to go with toshiba
it is great and classic company
you wont have problems with them
the size it is already your choise

I'd go with a better known name like Seagate, Western Digital, or Maxtor and look around to see which one's the cheapest. You can check out newegg.com or frys.com...they always have good sales. If you're not looking for much extra space and only need say...an extra 8 or 12 gigs of space, I'd go with a usb pen drive because they're a little more portable than an external hdd.

how much space do you need?
im sure you dont need too much just probably 40gig would be enough
and i recomend western digital

AWESOME
I got the external hard drive last week its Seagate 500gb External Portable Usb 2.0 Hard Drive
I found this one is a straight forward device that does what it should - stores my data without any problems

I would recomment you western digital hard drive
I got in in january Found that is very good
the size is small and it is ligh weigted
It has very quick transfer rate
I would recommend it
