PC or Mac?
So, which one do you prefer? I use Windows because it's a lot cheaper to own a pc than to buy a Mac. Macs are nice and extremely user friendly, but I'm not willing to cough up the cash to get one. Also, Apple has been making it very difficult to upgrade and customize a Mac lately.
I prefer PCs

It all depends on what youre doing if its mainly dealing with media files and you got the money you should go with a Mac but otherwise a PC is perfectly fine. Though it is nice to have a mac to use for a media center computer.

he Get a Mac campaign is a current (2006–present) television advertising campaign created for Apple Inc. by TBWA\Media Arts Lab, the company's advertising agency. Shown in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Japan, the ads in the campaign have become easily recognizable because each ad follows a standard simple template: against a minimalist all-white background, a man dressed in casual clothes introduces himself as a Mac running Mac OS X ("Hello, I'm a Mac..."), while a man in a more formal suit and tie combination introduces himself as a non-Macintosh personal computer running Microsoft Windows ("... And I'm a PC."). The two then act out a brief vignette in which the capabilities and attributes of "Mac" and "PC" are compared, with PC—characterized as a formal, stuffy person overly concerned with work—often being frustrated by the more laid-back Mac's abilities. Some recent ads have shifted focus away from comparing features of the computer systems to a more general comparison. The most recent ones, however, are mainly concerning Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows Vista.

I am not really convinced that Mac is more expensive than a PC If you are using windows on it. But maybe if your PC is running an open source OS, like linux flavors then that is true. If you buy a Mac well that's a one time purchase all is there, but with windows PC you have to buy several licences. And if you are using these computers for production chances are you will spend more time and cash for maintenance of a windows PC. Most virus are built for Windows. In the long run I believe both will equate. Well, still it depends on the user. I am using windows PC at home, Mac in the office.

I have both. As a web browser I prefer the Mac.
As a programming platform I prefer the PC.

I'm not going to jump on the Mac bandwagon, tbh PC is number 1 and will always be number 1.

Mac is great if you use the PC for graphic design. But if you are a regular user, you can always use a normal PC because it's cheaper and quite efficient.
