Default IE or Firefox ?

Almost all of us use firefox, Let us see how many use IE,
Firefox has more protection than IE, thats why it is used by all of us,
Is there any reason for which firefox is used ?

I must admit, I prefer Firefox. I still use IE, but that is only for checking to see if a sites design works well in different browsers. Maybe most of us on this forum uses Firefox, but I definately know that IE is the most used browser on the Web and has been for quite a few years, as far as I know anyway.

I am using firefox when I come to know about tabbed browsing. Opera already has it , but not opensource. Also now there are several plugins that add ad-ons to firefox.
Some site require Internet Explorer. My friend told me that there is plugin available that can open sites in Internet explorer inside the firefox.

Firefox all the way. And most people on webmaster forums, and the people with a little info about www, use firefox because of its obvious advantages. IE is improving but has a lot to pick up.

I used to use Opera a lot, (since it was version 3). But now its looks a bit cluttered. Although the Opera guys are doing a great job in the mobile market.

I use Firefox 2. It has enhanced protection as compared to internet explorer.
But there is one important thing that most of the virus developers write viruses for the loopholes in IE. Only a few writes it exclusively for firefox.
It also has tabbed browsing

to check compatibility of my designs.Firefox really have many excellent plugins like web developer plugin etc.. which helps me a lot by saving my time

Mozilla Firefox is better because we can open unlimited sites in different tabs in a single window, Now IE is very old, I dont use it.

I use mozilla firefox 90% of the time, it's really a rare site when i have to use IE anymore. The only time is when the web content wants me to use IE instead of firefox.

Same, IE is become a old thing now, Whenever i see anyone who is running IE i think he is new on internet, but my father is running internet more than 12 years, but he prefers IE, not Mozilla firefox.

I am convinced with Firefox. BUT lately the memory issues (despite doing all the known hacks) is haunting FF. I wish if it were as crisp as Opera.

Well i don't prefer using IE.I don't like it because it doesn't have good security and spywares and viruses can easily attack your computer. But will Firefox you have many themes,add-ons and a very user friendly environment including good security and it is 2 times more faster than IE.

I use Firefox 95% of the time. I love the extensions on Firefox. I use IE7 only to check my hotmail account because Windows Live works better in IE. I also have Opera installed on my PC but rarely use it. I stick with what works best, and in my opinion Firefox get the job done best.

I have been using firefox forever, I love it cause tha tabbed browsing since I usually have like 30 tabs open at once and with IE how it used to be that would all collapse into one big mess on the toolbar. Also not having millions of pop-ups is quite nice, though I do use IE to make sure adversal works. Also a sad fact about 80% of the visitors to my sites use IE still and not eve 6.+, thats fine for me since each one of their signups is a dollar for me.

I use both firefox and opera as web browser instead of Internet Explorer. In the beginning I liked Firefox but gradually I am using Opera more because it uses less resources and also seems faster than Firefox.
No IE for me...
