Apparently the choice between these two operating systems is rather subjective as well.
As for me I like both and last time I want to install XP and Windows 7 on my laptop, but scared a little about the result.

As someone who has been running Windows XP as a primary operating system for the past eight years and has seen more netbooks with the dated OS in the last year or so, I was probably more excited about the arrival of Windows 7 than Twilight fans are about the upcoming release of the vampire packed New Moon movie. However, the last two netbooks I have gotten my hands on run the lower-end and feature-missing Windows 7 Starter edition. Although it pains me to admit it, I miss the rolling green mountains and blue skies of Windows XP.
Windows 7 is complete, but before we begin, this isn't the exact version of Windows 7 Ultimate that you'll get on a new PC.
That's because there are still content deals for Media Center to lock down and it doesn't have the Windows 7 web browser ballot scren that users in Europe will see when they set up a Windows 7 PC.

I have found Windows 7 better than XP. this is because of the security, graphics, ability to run application, self recovery, tools to maintain the computer speed and everything. Windows 7 is far and far better than the XP
