Webcam Microphone not Working

Hi!

I recently bought an webcam. I installed its drivers properly but when i recorded a videos and played, It had no sound. My webcam actually has two cables attached it the mic jack and usb cable. Now as i insert it on the port(mic jack) it makes huge noise. I don't understand where the problem is. I have reinstalled drivers several times but nothing has worked out. Please help.

I think that the problem is in your webcam. May be the sound output is out of working or may be you have problems woth OS and you need to reinstall it.

Check also all voice volume settings in your OS.

First of all check your voice volume settings if that was fine then it is a problem in your webcam.

I think that the problem is in your USB port.Please reinstall the USB drivers.

If you know you plugged them correctly then you have a problem with either your software or with your cables/ hardware one.

Tried out most of things but not working out. I am not so sure about usbdrivers. I have got a motherboard cd which i ran. Other than it don't have any idea.
