If you don't proactively visit these sites, how can they penetrate your computer?

I suggest you to make some block options in any browser for this.
And it's a function in any browser to keep the kids away from such 'places of interest'.

there should be a little security thing. like for instance i have aol explorer. that works like internet explorer. but slightly different interface. but anyway there is a security tab and if you click it it will say privacy report. and if you hit settings. it will come up to the restricted sites. so you can type the porn sites and filter them out. =) also it should tell you when one is tried to be accessed.

wait a minute here. If you don't want porn on your computer then don't visit porn sites. Stop downloading random toolbars too, they oftentimes contain some kind of adware or spamware. That should solve your problem.

Use a paid version of antivirus because some of them have a database of porn sites that can be blocked.

if someone want to block porn sites on computer so i would strongly recommend NetDog Porn Filter, it's the best software to block porn websites on the Internet

Here is more input and advice:
Depending on your operating system, you can actually control their movement from there. You can block sites.
Yes there are many ways to block porn sites. You may block these by a third party application or using Internet Explorer Browser settings. In IE Browser click tools > Internet options > security > click on upper Restricted sites icon > then click sites button> here you can add sites that are too dangerous. But all in above help you have to add manually. Blocking porn sites automatically is not 100% effective, but you may increase your privacy bar, decrease your trusted sites bar, and increase your restricted sites bar. This may help you, or set and read complete Internet options settings to get the most information.
There are several sources of "hosts" files available that will effectively block any site. To block a site, one enters the URL with 127.0.0.1 as the IP address in the hosts file. When the URL is requested by the browser, the hosts file is checked first for the IP address and used if there. The Internet address 127.0.0.1 is the loop back for every computers ethernet card which tells the browser that the requested site is on the local computer. Not finding the requested URL there, the browser will present nothing.
Another method is to block it in a hardware router, or a firewall. Some or most provide this function. I have a Netgear WGR614 which allows me to do either keyword or domain filtering, but unfortunately this is a cross between reactive blocking and proactive prevention, as there ill always be ways around this, and sites that get past.

If you want to block porn sites on your computer, it is the difficult task as there are so many websites with different names. however, make list of porn sites you want to block on the notepad. Open your system drive, go to "Windows" folder, then go to "system32" folder, then open "etc" folder. In there, you will see the "drivers" folder. Open that and you will see a file named "hosts". Edit that with notepad and enter the following lines:

127.0.0.1 website you want to block

Add as much lines like these with different site name as much you know the websites. Save the file and websites would be blocked.

If you are using firefox you just check out your Add-ons to block porn sites on your computer, but there are so many porn sites which are using different names so it is really very difficult task to block all the porn sites.
