Default WordPress And Ecommerce Websites

Guys,

Do you feel WordPress is suitable for E-commerce Website? Do you think, it can be secure enough for E-commerce websites? I know its a CMS and we need to install the security by our-self but do you feel, it can provide enough assistance in it? Or should we opt for professional PHP web development to develop E-commerce websites?

One CMS can't provide all solution for different kind of business. Wordpress is best in providing CMS for blog or content based website where users still have control on creating new pages or content in website. For ecommerce website, there are more affordable and efficient CMS available to fulfill the needs which are specially built for online store only with advance security and facilities which online business require with current internet market.
