Default Script your own CMS or use one of the shelve?

What would you say the best option here is. Build your own CMS or just to buy one that is already used by many others?

I personally prefer to code my own CMS. I build it the way I want it to work. I find the more you know about coding websites, the more of an advantage you have as a majority of website owners don't know a thing about designing or coding a website.

I am prefere writing own CMS but to use already developed frameworks like Joomla or Wordpres.
Reasons:
1. I was much easier to adapt to the needs of users;
2. Unable to create multi-user interface;
3. Easier for me to do personalized graphic design from scratch than to modify an existing template;
4. Most of the options of free CMS user never used;
5. Simpler interface for the user;
6. I have complete control over their applications;
7. Quick response page;
8. SEO frendly;
etc...

Simple math:

1 programmer (hell even 1 team) vs. 100,000+ developers on Wordpress.

If you have a very specific, not very complex CMS need, write your own. For everything else, Drupal, Joomla, and Wordpress are going to get you there faster and cheaper.
