I used wordpress, primarily because my current sites are text oriented, but i do plan to work on joomla in the near future.

Well I have used WP, Joomla, Mambo, Xoops and PHPnuke. I was able to install all of them with no problem - yay for me.

But I had one problem and another. I could never get the CMS to the way where it should be for my requirements. So last week, I went back to word press.

I am now making another effort at it and I am sticking to it to make this successful. I think the problem before was, there were not enough plugins and fixes for things. Now a year later, there seem to be many themes available and much more documentation on problem fixes.

Well i prefer using Wordpress for my site.It is the best CMS and is very good for content management. It has lot of plugins so my website becomes even more better.
Joomla is also good for content management. It has modules that Wordpress doesn't have.
So i prefer using both.

Joomla all the way, although i havent tried any other cms i have no need to, my joomla sites do everything i want and it makes my life so much easier so i would recommend it to anyone who is bored of writing long html scripts out

You can get sites up and running in no time when you have played about with it for a while and got to know the interface.

Can't think about anything except Wordpress.
Its just awesome. Very modular and extensible with Plugins.

I use wordpress for my blog and I have made a website for someone using Joomla which I found really easy to use and it loaded fast! It was also easy to explain to the person I did the site for which made life easy

At the moment I am not using any cms for my sites as I prefer to code my own sites.I have tried tweaking wordpress a little for it to become a cms but I am quite unhappy with the results.
