Have I Mis-read This?

I see that when a sale is made via Clickbank that the email address of the buyer is given by Clickbank to the vendor, but not to the seller ...so if this is a low cost product (or otherwise) are we not as sellers just helping the vendors to create their mailing lists while we are not allowed access to our buyers email address? regards Nemo
