Clickbank tips
What is your most effective way of closing out sales? I have have had no success with Clickbank products so far though I have been an account holder for more than a year now. Maybe I am missing something.

I think developing your own landing page is your best bet if you are promoting whatever the flavor of the month Clickbank product is this month. If you have your own site and you are trying to promote a relevant Clickbank product that sometimes works. I own the site www.CancerTopics.net - The Best Natural Cancer Treatments and I promote an alternative cancer treatment e-book on there from Clickbank that does ok.

The challenge here is how to make a good content for your landing page. Your affiliate Click bank programs will not be easily noticed if not properly integrated on your site.

There is a lot of smear campaigns out there, the hard cover traditional book sellers are claiming that e books are suffering from dwindling sales.
But e book sellers are claiming on the contrary, they have posted sales gains due to effective campaign.
Clickbank sells e books while Amazon.com sells hard book, so you decide.

A $1,500 Clickbank Service?
Does anyone know if CB will allow me to recruit Affiliates to sell an advertising service that retails for $1,500? Affiliates would only be paid $100 per sale.
It appears that I'm to complete the sales letter, then the "download here" page, and submit it for approval or rejection. I have to employ some offshore programmers to complete a small section of this, and don't want to hire them if I can't promote a $1,500 program.
If CB won't allow a $1,500 program to be promoted, what is your recommended "Plan B" for finding affiliates for this? We do have a built-in affiliate program embedded into the sales letter.

Clickbank has a price cap of $49 for new publishers. It is possible to have them permit a product with a $1500 price, but it will take a long time to establish a relationship with them that will allow that.
PayDotCom may be a better bet.
By the way, if you intend to offer only $100 commission on a $1500 product, you will likely find affiliates to be in short supply. Offer $750 or more and you will probably find lots of willing partners.

Thanks Charlie, but that seems a bit steep to add on that much money for my target market. The service being sold costs close to $1,300 so that the affiliate can have $100. You're suggesting raising the cost to $2grand to pay out a big chunk. Maybe I should try it, but I don't " feel comfortable" soaking buyers that much.

Clickbank and success.
I have had limited success. Done a lot of writing of articles and promotion on various forums.
I now have my own product, nearly 2 years worth of work. It works and is making money for those who bought it privately.
I have decided to go via clickbank for the following reason... 1% of a million is more than 100% of 100. I shall pay 50% com.
However I do not have the foggiest idea how to get my program into click bank. I have emailed them for advice... no reply!
I have tried a few posts on this forum which seem to be continuously, either held back or blocked.. don't know why, all I want is some advice... what is this forum for if not to provide some sort of insight?
I'd be surprised if this gets posted as I am being critical, and it appears to be dictatorially controlled.
So here goes and here is hoping!!!
Thanx, just in case it does find its way onto the forum!

Here is a way I use Clickbank and make money with them.
1.Create a new landing page for the product.
2.Signup for Aweber and link to the landing page
3.Supply them with a FREE Ebook or something free that will be value to them. They receive the Ebook by filling out the opt-in. You now have their email address and a good lead to follow up. Make sure that the free product you give them is somehow related to the original product you want to sell to them.
4. I then follow up with an email 2 days after. The reason I do this is that a lot of people visiting the landing page will not buy on the first look at your site. It may take a few emails, but I have proven that this method does work.
Somewhere in there you need to also be getting traffic to your landing page. You can do this through various marketing methods including Social Media, writing articles and submitting to Ezine Artcles etc. If you start making money from your landing page look into other marketing methods including pay per click etc.
Hope that information is of some help to you.

I wanted to ask one thing..do widgets also come in this category of clickbank? If i add some widgets in my blogs to publicize and to earn money, then does it come in the category of clickbanks?
Kindly reply to remove my confusion.
