How to drive traffic in Amazon affiliate shopping site

Hi all,

I want to build up a shopping site with the Amazon affiliate program. I just want to know how to get traffic on the site as there will be less content and more of Amazon product displays. One idea that strikes me is to have a blog section on it which will be regularly updated with articles such as Woman's Day, Valentine's Day, Father's Day etc. Please suggest. Thanks in advance.

You should post about your products where interested customers supposes to come. You can also target some less popular keywords (to compete less) for the products on your website.
