Default curious ebooks about affiliate earnings - no website

I am really curious about these ebooks that claim people are making money from affiliate sales with no website and advertising through adwords.

I can see the how the system works legitmately on a website. I mean that is why the merchant wants affiliates - to advertise their products.

But these guys are saying they have no websites. So 2 questions:

1. most affiliate programs do not allow you to sign up without a website
- how are these guys getting in

2. adwords says your link cannot go to an affiliate link
- so why do they let them advertise

Does anyone know their system and how do they get away with it?

I'm working for an affiliate network and one basic thing that we consider in terms of affiliate application is the presence of live web site. I was ordered to reject any application that used software or adwords and not web site to advertise our merchants' products.

1. almost every affiliate program will accept you without a website.
2. the affiliate link of Clickbank could be used in the google adword.
using adwords your ad most sell not promote some free to join affiliate program this is the only way you could "not sure" make some money.
the books will only teach you how to write attractive ads you can research adwords ads for yourself.

I'm not sure if this is correct. How do you think will Affiliate Programs accept you if you don't have a web site? In fact most Affiliate Programs right now do not accept applications that use software as means of promotion.

the bestand onley way to make "money "on the net is by having a website.
but the leading affiliate programs like
SBI, SFI, never asks their affiliates to have a website.
by the way what about blogs now every one can promot his program and affiliate links by free blogs

It's great for the merchant, but not always so great for the affiliate. If someone wants to promote my program and waste thousands of dollars on adwords, it doesn't cost me anything.

It's much more effective to put up a real website and treat it just like a business.

I agree with musclehead. Merchants and networks will trust you more if you have a web site than when you have anything else.
