What is special with direct affiliate program. I did not yet hear about it.

First of all, what is an affiliate marketing business? To put it simply, it is probably the letter A in an online business how to alphabet...Not due to the fact that the word affiliate starts with the letter A, but because it is the simplest and also one of the most efficient methods of online success.If done properly, that is. Remember, there's no easy way around anything,and great rewards con not be achieved without great efforts.

When you say direct affiliates, do you mean getting affiliates to join your program. If so, then having your affiliate program listed on affiliate directories will give your program more exposure resulting in more affiliates joining your program.

You may not get any good affiliates, you may get a handful of good ones and then you may get many quality affiliates this way. How successful it would be depends on your programs niche, what your program offers, etc.

3. There is no Best Merchant Program.
4. Use multiple merchants in the same niche.
5. There is no Best Network.
6. What are Content Sites.

If you're using a contribution in OSC, chances are that you're what affiliates call an "indie" (independent affiliate program), meaning they sign up with you, you track sales and you pay them. their are affiliate networks out there where affiliate gather to find merchants and those networks track and pay the affiliates. you still have to recruit, but as an indie, you're asking professional marketers to trust you - and there's over 20,000 like you, small, doing it themselves, and affiliates have been burned by merchants who mess up tracking or go broke or do unethical things. if you think affiliate marketing is going to be a big, important channel for you, consider ditching the indie route and join a network.
