Well with poker affiliate programs you usually have 2 choices on signup. CPA (cost per acquisition) or residual. I always take residual. In poker every game or hand the players play in they pay a small 'rake' which is fee that is taken out of the pot. This is how the poker rooms make their money. As an affiliate I get a percentage of this rake my linked players pay. If they are playing muliple rooms at a time and is a good player so plays lots my income from 1 player can be over $1,000. a month.
For most it's way less. Just depends on how good they are. But poker players are rarely a, play for a day or two and quit, type of people. They usually play a fair bit and fairly often. Which is good for me.
There are even 2 sites out there that I know of where you can earn commissions from players who joined for free and never even deposited. Those are tough to find, but there are some out there. And if someone who joined for free can end up making me a couple hundred per month, in my books that's a great deal.
The reason for this thread is I was just trying to find out if there was anything else out there that could generate the same type of earnings. And the one other thing I left off was google adsense. It is another good revenue source if you have enough traffic.
