if you have cars domain then you could try auto warranty and auto insurance otherwise adsense will be good

Adsense will be profitable only if you have huge amount of traffic floowing on your site already, otherwise its a waste.

yea, even i have experienced low income and dissatisfaction from adsense. I feel the rules are really strict, one gets easily ban from this and other than this, the payout ratio is also very low.

In order to get high payout from adsense you will have to optimize your site well enough to cater a potential traffic to your site, try using various SEO techniques for atleast 2-3 hrs in a day. It can be very beneficial if used properly!

just type Cars Affiliate Programs in Google and you will get the results you need, however you might find few affiliate programs for actual physical cars, and many for car insurance and other services

I can understand your discontentment with adsense because it requires alot of traffic before it becomes profitable .However it would be great if yoou can capture some through good SO techniques .

Well, i guess you have a site about car, right? If so, you can googled car affiliate programs and join some of them, and promote the products and services for them, they will paid you commission. Hope this helps!

Google "cars affiliate programs" won't bring you the best ones- they will give you the ones that did the best SEO.
If you are looking for cars affiliate programs you should be more targeted- go to networks.
You might want to consider Google Affiliate. They offer a verity of different affiliate programs that you can easily compare one to another.
Other networks like CJ or share a sale will offer similar services.

You need to search for the reliable affiliate program and before choosing it, be sure you read reviews about it. So that to avoid promoting any fake programs.
