Unless you are a hermit or you are completely oblivious, you probably know that right now the economy in North America is absolutely TERRIBLE. People are losing jobs like crazy, the biggest automobile manufacturers are going into the tank, JC Penny and Starbucks are closing stores all over North America, the governments of Canada and the United States are going insane trying to figure out how to get our countries through these times of economic crisis, and people are wondering how on earth they are going to support their families and pay the bills. I have heard many people commenting on the fact that right now is the worst time to try to start a business and that if you try right now you will definitely fail.

I would like to tell you that if you have heard people say that, then please do not listen to them in regards to making money because they are dead wrong. Right now is one of the BEST times to try to start an online business.

Now please, hear me out, continue reading. Yes, I am serious and no, I am not insane. If you think I am, then go ahead and stop reading this and find your own way to make it through these tough economic times.
But if you want to know how you can survive these hard economic times and maybe even start making more money than you have ever made before, then please, hear me out.

First of all, the economy is in the tank. I will admit that. But that doesn’t mean people are going to stop spending money. People are going to be trying to find any way possible to save money and to try to make extra money. If you take advantage of this, you will be able to profit hugely, even though most of the continent is going to be spending all their time trying to figure out how they are going to make enough money to pay the minimum payments on their bills.

So how do you take advantage of this? Well, you can create your own product, or you can promote products as an affiliate. What kind of products? “How to” products. When the economy is down, everyone will be looking for ways to make money and save money. If you promote or create products on “How to Make Money Online”, think of how many people would love to buy your products! Everyone will be looking for ways to make money and they will be willing to pay for it. If you take advantage of this, you will be able to profit in a down economy. If you know a lot about repairing cars, put the information you know into an ebook and sell it! If you know how to save money on taxes, put it in an ebook! As a whole the country is in a recession, people are losing jobs, and homes are going down in value being repossessed. That is what we are hearing.

However that is not the entire country. In our area there is only a 3.5% unemployment, homes are increasing in value by 1.6% per year, and we are considered one of top areas for job growth. They are building homes and commercial building and growth are going on at a rapid rate.

The majority of the country, sits in between these two extremes.

We hear the bad news, because bad news sells newspapers, and the bad areas are the ones where the news bureaus etc. are.

Some areas are doing bad, and some are doing good. Even in the worst areas there is close to a 90% employed rate.

Instead of thinking things are terrible, market to sell to the good areas of the country where they are still doing good. Market to the 90% or so in the bad areas that still spending money. I have been around the business world the last 60 years, and have seen many downturns, and have found that you can still do business even in a depressed area in bad times you just have to work harder to find the business.

Remember that things will pick up, and the ones that are working hard today on Internet Businesses will survive if they have the right strategy, and when things pick up you will be poised to be a leader then.

Even i like to mention one more opportunity here. More and more people are turning towards forex trading as a work from home extra income opporutnity especially during this recession. lot of people are making money is in brokering projects needed in the United States to companies overseas. In fact, a lot of your bigger companies do this as well. There are tactic is great your business.
I have personally built large organizations in these types of companies and have no asterisk by where my money comes from. I really like the idea of helping others make money and getting paid in the process. Thanks for some ideas.

Why is everyone wanting to throw in the towel and think the whole country is in the dumps.

Wrong.

Parts of the country, have a very low unemployment rate. Others are above 10%. Overall 90% of the people are still working and spending money. They are spending money more wisely, and you need to market more wisely to those with money.

There are areas in the country that have seen big drops in home prices in past 12 months, such as Miami at -39.94% (price drop) Las Vegas at -35.53%, to places like Salt Lake City Ut at 0% change in value, Boston Ma a 0% change, Billings Mt (largest city in state) at 0% change.

These areas also have low unemployment. Market to those areas where people are not running scarred.

Some areas have seen 1 in something like 64 homes being foreclosed in in Las Vegas to Vermont with one in 15,000 plus being foreclosed on. Market to the good areas they are spending money and are not in a panic.

Bad news sells newspapers is the old saying. That is why the news paper s and TV are pitching how bad it is.

Right now quit looking at how bad the country is, as only parts of it are really bad. Others are in good shape and will spend money. Go after the spenders not those in trouble.
