A good keyword will have over 500k searches and low to mid competition. That's if you want the easy way out though. Any keyword can make page 1 with patience and hardwork

The other great thing about Clickbank is you only sign up once. If you’re signing up with other affiliate programs you’ll have to keep track of all those passwords, where you signed up, and who you’re supposed to get paid from. What a hassle. [Warning: Don't go to the Clickbank website to look for niche products, because their website is so confusing. I usually just organize them by folder. I haven't found a way to change file names quickly and easily.

generate keywords relevant to your niche or content. Check on it competition as well as monthly searchers and the traffic generated of the keywords. There are plenty of online services you can use in searching for the right keywords for you, google keyword search too is one.

Using domains with misspelled variations of the actual name and redirecting them can be a good practice, but not sure how you are going to optimize a website for a misspelled keyword. IMO. that'd be a waste of efforts, moreover since the search engines are now developed to an extent that it suggests users the right keywords, I don't think that you'd ever receive any traffic for the misspelled keywords.
