When I started affiliate marketing, one of the very first networks I joined was ShareASale. Not sure if it's do to it being my first or not, but they have always paid me on time and I've never had any issues with them even though I have been using them for over 5 years now. They also have datafeed options, many top quality merchants to chose from, etc.

The field is pretty wide, and the type of network you'd choose would depend a lot on the type of offers you want to promote. You mentioned specifically investment advisory services - I assume you mean investment newsletters, stock picking services etc.

If you bring a business card while you're at work, it will look funny and be off-putting, IMO. Even just going over to introduce yourself will be out of the ordinary. If you do talk with them via phone and email, then going over in person the next time there's an occasion for you to interact in the course of the job would be smoothest.

The title sounds fuzzy. Two different jobs wrapped up into one title. A Network Analyst is much different than an Intelligence Analyst.

Was an Intel Analyst with Army for 5 years. Liked it a lot, but ultimately wasn't for me. Lot of research, writing, power point, analyzing, briefing (public speaking). 12 hour days in front of a computer.

If you have your own products then I think that you will get better results. and better earnings.
