Looking for a Good Network
Hi guys
We are a small hosting and domain company, could anyone recommend to us a good CPA network.
Some of the networks we have contacted (and received replies) from are asking for a lot of money up front.
Any information or even a point into the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Hi Vodnia,
Affiliate Networks like Google Affiliate, CJ etc. cost a lot of money indeed. S\You should aslo be aware of that they don't commit to bring in new affiliates, and you have to do a lot of internal-optimization to bring publishers into your program.
However, if you can afford an experienced seo worker, networks can bring you a lot of value.
There are many other options out there. They may cost less but give you a headache. Affiliation is one of the most competitive niches and bringing new affiliates into your program without affiliate manager or funding resources will be hard to achieve.
While deciding, you can collect affiliates manually in forums and publish it in directories.
Good luck!

It is the fact that the large networks will demand you for huge money for the promotion, As said by Melissa optimizing your website is the good method to promote your program, later on you can promote with these large networks once if you have started getting good response.

A lot of the networks want a good bit of money up front so they can secure their position more. In other words, if a merchant didn't have setup fees and only paid once a sale was made, they could easily use that network for only a few days and it would waste their publishers time then, which is what the networks don't want.
The networks want merchants that will stay within their network for a while and therefore aim to get quality ones that are willing to pay a good startup fee.

Affiliation is one of the most competitive niches as well as bringing new affiliates into your program without affiliate manager or financing resources will be hard to achieve.

Yup I agree with all of you. I have a personal experience with Link Share and paid them a lot of money. If you want to run an affiliate program then develop your own affiliate tracking software .

HasOffers seems to be a good choice for starting a new affiliate program. It's fairly inexpensive monthly rate and no startup fees.
