Affiliate Networks question

I just acquired a new incentivized website. I have applied as a publisher in revenue universe but they have denied my application. Can someone tell me the different reason for which an affiliate network denied an application?

Different reasons could be what's written on your application, the type of site you have, the design of you website, the professional-ness of your website, your amount of traffic, your niche, etc.

Some networks do not accept incentivized type sites and then some do. Have you tried phoning them or tried joining up with some other networks also.

Hi there,

Admin is very correct that there can be many reasons because of which the affiliate manager can decline the application. The best why is join some related affiliate, i mean the theme of your site to the affiliate and also you can just try again with the affiliate you currently applied to.

Hi Hanna1,

There could be many reasons for denying your application by the affiliate networks. Since you have incentivized website, it is better that you join affiliate networks that provide incenvized offers. You can try affiliate networks like CPAstorm , Maxbounty and Azoogle. They offer some incentivized offers.

You can do is find a dealer with a decent mainstream product. Top of services (hosting, online backup, etc.) and apply through merchant. And get a dealer on your side first. This way, if a call goes wrong on Hollar dealer network and tell them they want you as an affiliate.

1. a PR of 2 or above

3. site written in English
4. no pornographic sites

Although some would instantly accept applications while others require a reciprocal link or a widget installed on your site. Hope this one helps.

Most aff. networks send a check.
CJ offers the option of direct electronic transfer.
Only a few like shareasale.com use paypal.

I wish more networks used Paypal

Reasons affiliates get denied, in my opinion, is the content of the site and/or the traffic is not good. Moreover, question "How do you promote your offers" is very important.

You may be thinking of "GumTree", its owned by Ebay don't know if it was setup by Ebay or if Ebay bought it later. It does have local areas eg Sydney,Perth etc but there are now about ten other countries as well. So not sure how Aussie it is.

Thanks for the suggestions. Overstock is does not have Australian Branch. Also, ebay is very picky and kicks out affiliates randomly few times a year.

In your denied mail, reason may be written. It may be due to you have other programs running at your website. Or your website is attached to many other affiliate networks.
