What type of traffic do you get to your site?

For a gaming site you have plenty of options, you can use amazon for game adds, or auctionads to advertise ebay auctions for game systems, Also the best list of affiliate networks is actually on this site. http://www.affiliateseeking.com/netwo/23000002/1.html

What particular gaming site are you operating?is it gambling oriented or other computer games.
For gambling site I will refer you this ..
luckynugget.com
And adsense minimum payout is 100 plus the waiting time for your check, also the clearing should be considered.
If you can provide a link to your site, maybe I can go over it and recommend
some more options for you.

Definitely give "ReachAds" a go. They are a PPC program that only displays gaming related banner ads, so you'll almost always have a high CTR. They usually pay between $0.03 - $0.05 per click.

Wow, gaming sites seem to be another huge fad that are popping up everywhere. While I like gaming I try to stay away from owning sites that are in a hugely over saturated market. If you look at the Digital Point and Site Point for sale forums they are overflowing with gaming sites for sale from people that realized how saturated the market is. Is you site a turnkey or did you build it yourself with original games?

It all depends on your niche. You can do some research to find the authority sites in your field and then select the best one.

You said your niche is games. Here is a list you might find helpful.

If you don't like Adsense's $100 payout, you can try other ad placement services. I know of one that only has a $25 payout, hold on, let me Google it.

Adsense needs a huge volume of traffic in order to earn a descent value every month. It is better if you try some other affiliate programs like CJ or Clickback.

There are so many affiliate out here. But i would recommend you to choose the one which is of your niche and pays wells. CPA are the best in this regard. I have experienced that adsense pays quite low and also have very strict rules.

The best way to get good affiliates is to find those that already rank for your product. If you are a new program and you are trying to get really good affiliates, you might have to put up cash to get them to try it. I know of a program that when they started they were paying 1K to good affiliates that were already producing. By the end of a short period of time, that money had already been recouped.

The first step in finding a product that will sell is to find one that is affordable to others. Find something in the price range of $20 up to $120. By having cheap products many people will buy them giving you small payments in large numbers and by having large priced items, you get those one or two sales that bring in some good income.
