I'll be to the point:

Is there any way to make money using some sort of custom google, yahoo, msn, etc. home page?

I own a computer sales and service company. Say we do about 50 computers a month. If we would set all of their home pages to a custom home page that searched through google or yahoo or what ever, but we received a portion of the revenue generated through the ads...or something like this. Well, after 12 months of 50 people each, I think there would be some potential revenue.

Is there anything similar to this that you all can think of?

Hey there,

The idea is good. But you need to see if your custom page is visible to others as well, because when i made my page, it was only visible on my browser.

The idea is good .I'm sure google and all have a way out for this .They would obviously not mind an offer like this .But 1st like adria said sought out the technical issues ,if you fix those up then you may contact them .I'm sure they'll respond back .

The Idea looks good, and if this really work out then it would be excellent. But as the others have mentioned about the fixing of technical issues first, I agree with them completely.

The concept of creating custom home page to generate revenue is good but it should be carried out properly or else it can have negative affects.

Hire some seo experts or do seo if you know all about this . It is a way to promote your sales .

This is not really familiar to me. However, you can try making a custom search engine using your websites and earn through it.

use adwords to market you pages if you are willing to get fast traffic,

Earning some income from creating custom website is in demand. Though, one need to look after it carefully or else it might leave you with negative results.

It should be noted that you should be careful in the process of getting that home page designed as it could give the negative impacts you don’t want.

I think your idea is known as affiliate marketing. In which we made a home page or website to promote other company products and services. Like amazon affiliate program in which you will be promoting amazon products and services..

nice idea, but it is not a safe idea, if Google notes that then you face lot of problems.
