2. Research the market ( do your keyword research on Wordtracker and check the trends on Google Trends )
3. Analyse your competition ( check how many competitors you are up against on Google, their backlinks and targetted keywords )

( By now you would have an idea if your initial plans will work or not.)

4. Then only select the appropriate affiliate programme.

Great initiation! The affiliate marketing programs you choose need to be related to your niche and complimentary to one another. This way, your internet marketing can accommodate all your affiliate products and not have to be unique to each one. Furthermore, your targeted website traffic will already be generally interested in the various offerings on your website or blog.
