Affiliate Marketing for begginers!!! HELP NEEDED!

Hello,

I am absolutely new to the world of affiliate marketing and would greatly appreciate if somebody will find the time to clear a few of my doubts.

1. I have a domain name and a hosting account. What do I do next to set up?

2. Do i need an auto responder for affiliate marketing?

3.Do i need a website as well as a blog for this? If yes where should the affiliate links be posted?

4. Can I have a blog and a website running separately? And if so, do i need to buy separate hosting space and domain names for both?
I read on the web that I can have both on the same hosting space but the domains need to be bought separately.

5. I know what a squeeze page is. But how and where do i set it up and how does it link up to either the website or blog?

Please guide me so that I can finally start with the affiliate marketing. I have been looking all over for these answers but could not find anything satisfactory. Any tutorials on setting up a blog or website from scratch and setting up for the first sale are most welcomed.
