How to approach companies about banner advertising?

Sorry if this post is in the wrong group.
I run a niche market website. It is very targeted to this niche group of people.

I'm currently getting 5000-6200 unique visitors/month and 300,000+ pages views/month.

How do I approach companies about banner advertisering? I know some of them advertise on sites similar to mine.

Does anyone have a form email they send out that they would like to share.

Or, is this better handled with a telephone call to the companies?

Any advice would be appreciated.

you can approach companies by email and make them good offer for successful banner advertising.

show them what you got, and try to convince them by showing some of your successful sites or make a call then ask for an appointment and prepare your presentation that will really convinced them that banner advertisement will contribute a lot for the success of their company.

The best option is to follow your niche. Try to locate websites or blogs from your industry. You can track the contact information or email address mentioned on the website. Once you receive the contact information you can send an email with brochure regarding the pricing.

DO one thing go through the google, go for banner related keywords and then you can get in the nested banner partners and get the more information.
