Is Micro niche websites.........?

Hello,
I have read that making Micro niche websites is no longer workable due to Google search engines update(PANDA).... Is that true?

If it is true, then what's the new method that one should use, if you want to start earning money from ADSENSE?

Get and create unique content micro niche site does work but you need to have unique content

What do you mean with micro niche site? how do i know if my site is considered as micro niche? can you please explain? it would really be helpful.. thanks.
