Default Adsense click fraud...The real beneficiary...

well i know that Adsense is a great income source for some people and that some people pay their utility bills and all that from just their adsense incomes..what i dont get is this.

ok now one of my freinds got recently banned out of adsense stating that his website was generating a lot of invalid clicks..i do know what you guys might think..that he was clicking on his won ads..well that wasnt the situation..

ok now before this he was having around 89$ in adsense, around 18th of the month,so he didnt recieve the pay check yet..

what he got an email saying that his adense account was disabled and that the money will be returned to the advertisers!!!!!!

I know google is not a small time company which could dump that amount into their account, but lets face it..how can we tell that they have actually refunded that much amount back to the advertisers???

even if they return half of it and keep the other half..say 40$...at any time google has around millions of publishers....and publishers get banned daily..thanks to google..

no doubt..googles stocks are rising daily!

what do you guys think?

I agree, put it this way, the advertiser has been charged for the click and they dont know if its invalid or not, so when google bans someone i think they just keep the money and the advertiser is kept in the dark about it.

No one gets rich being honest these days

yeah true..and no wonder google has not even stopped small time publishers from joining into the program..

some other PPC and CPM sites will let you sign up only if you have huge amount of traffic and stuff like that...google is just so kind on newbies! makes me wonder why...

Well how google sees it, say the cost of the click gets split 50-50 between the publisher and google.

The publisher doesnt get paid until they reach $100 so by that time google has made $100 off of you, then they look a your account, if you have been doing fishy stuff they ban you, keep the money so they have made $200 from you and not done a thing.

Google is in a win win situation because they charge the advertiser in the first place, then take half of the publishers revenue then more then likely keep it if the publisher gets banned.

So clever how it works

Default That's a fraud you are right

Hi.

I agree with you. That's a fraud you are right. I found a disturbing weakness about the google AdSense program. I discovered that a stranger can close your account. To find out how you account could be closed by a stranger, see my post on this website

The trouble is that until somebody comes up with something better we are all stuck with it, however, they are so big now it will take a real genius to do it.

To control adsense click fraud, you could use click pattern checking scripts/softwares along with your adsense site. Its not accurate though.

Thats very interesting. Nobody is going to google and check whether they are really returning the money to the advertisers..

Default how to cheat google?

Here are few ways to increase your clicks (use them if you want your account to get banned):

Click your own AdSense ads -
In case you didn’t read the Google term of service, you are not allowed to click you own ads, this is a big NO, and you account will banned.
Google can find it in many different ways.

Click your own ads through a proxy server -
You think that if you use a proxy server, or an anonymous surf service Google will not find out that you were the one that clicked those ads.
Then think again you are wrong, Google use different methods to detect the clicker identity and a proxy server will not help you to hide it.

Click your own ads from different computers -
First thing, no matter how many friends you have, the amount of money you will make by asking all your friends to click your ads, it’s not worth it when you will get banned from the AdSense program.

Software clickers -
Software clicker are scripts they click your AdSense instead of you. You can find them on Google if you search for clickbots or click-bots. All of them will cloak you IP address and the more clever ones even surf you site before click you ads.

Pay some one to click for you -
You can find groups the will click you ads for 50$ a month, search for professional AdSense clickers, they will try to click the more expensive ads in order that you will make more money, that until your account will disabled.

Ask your visitor to click your AdSense ads -
Like the first one, this one is forbidden, your are not allowed to put any request to click your AdSense, even if it in implicitly way like: “Support us by click our sponsors”

Clicking Networks -
This networks share clicks between of all the members, in simple words: you click my ads and I will click yours. Very smart way but still not allowed according to Google TOS. This method also called click-ring cheat.

There are more ways to cheat in Google AdSense like spam, newsletters and more but If you are not interested in getting you AdSense account disabled don’t use any of this methods.

Take all effort and time combine them to get more traffic to your site, this will make the same impact but in a legal way.

google are the major beneficiary of banned adsense accounts, advertisers loose money to click fraud while Adsense publishers are the perpetrators and also on the receiving end.
Its just like a circle. Google are at the middle and they ban whoever they wishes at anytime and I dont even think they will return 10% of those seized earnings back to their advertisers.
Imagine banning 10 000 adsense publishers with an average of $80 in their account will result in Google getting a free $800 000!

I am not sure whether google keeps the money or gives it all back to the advertisers when they catch fraud clicks. But if they did keep all that money then they would certainly be profitting a lot and I hope that they are refunding the money back to the advertisers.

Yeah, nicely said vannarith.
Remember, newbies! no phoney clicks. Nada. None. It's just not worth it. Do it the right way, you'll earn more, and feel good about yourself in the morning.

Having worked as both a publisher and advertiser for Adwords, I can tell you that clickfraud is a major problem. Developers these days are crazy good as creating bots that will use proxies and programatically click their adsense links to create revenue. While Google has some decent filters in place, there are always ways to get around them, if you are smart enough.
