Default Does Adsense Really Pay?!

From my personal experience this is what I have learned from the Adsense:-
1) Forget about placing Adsense Ads if you have a traffic < 1000
2) Only 336 works within the content. Place it in a DIV with flowing text around.
3) The vertical sidebar ads never gets clicked
4) Randomize the Ad position every now and then, this increases the CTR
5) Links SHOULD be blue. Forget about blending
6) Ads should have no borders. It should blend with the background
7) Never read and get disappointed with others adsense earnings. They are not true
8) Never buy Adsense secret tips books. They don't know any better than you.
9) Never keep adsense filters. They will affect the smartpricing of adsense. you earn less if you keep them.
10) Always TARGET ads using section-targetting of adsense.

while I dont agree with the no adsense unless you have >1000 but everything else is correct, no one clicks adsense ads on the vertical sidebars.

i think alpha means you will not make a good money in adsense until you have 1000 visitors . from my point of view adsense is the best way to get money by having website . getting traffic is easy just write unique content in something yo interested in and you will have visitors

I am not sure if it is the niche I am in or not. However, my website currently gets an average of about $0.40 per click I recieve. The website generates about $60.00 per month with about 8,000 unique visitors every month.

$0.40 per click is not all that bad. I would imagin that the average is around $0.15 - $0.30 cents per click, but then that really depends on your sites topic.

If your ads are fully optimized on your site, then I would suggest that increasing your targetted traffic will result in even more earnings. By the looks of things though, $60 per month on 8,000 unique visitors can most probably be improved. But then that depends on your sites topic and the type of site it is.

I disagree with it. I have blend google ad colors with my site colors. The color of the link and text in the ad is same as that on the site. It gives me good clicking rate. I have even got 2$ for just three clicks.

Does Adsense really pay? I mean for the effort, it does pay,the whole idea is leave it there,no maintenance,no effort.
I believe websites should be quality oriented, you get lasting traffic that way,and the chance for your adsense earning virtually increases a hundred fold.

Adsense is so tremendously popular due to the sheer ease of it. You get your code and paste it in. Then you sit and wait. In this sense, it does pay, because any money you earn just for doing that is easy money.

Yes I agree completely with most of what you have said. Does anyone here ever get paid from the Firefox or Google pack affiliate ads??

//1) Forget about placing Adsense Ads if you have a traffic < 1000//

What a stupid statement! My blogs dont generate mcuh traffic, they are smaller ones. But I have received 2 checks from adsense within short period of time.

//3) The vertical sidebar ads never gets clicked//

I do get clicks from them.

Other points can be true to some extent....

I don't think the point about <1000 hits is correct.
I am running a forum and yes i have traffic less than 1000 but am still earning.
Also please explain the reason behind changing the position of the ads from time to time and also the reason why links must be blue and not blend.
I think there is a greater probability of getting hits if the ads are merged/placed strategically within the articles so that people click on them thinking of them as a part of the article.
I feel there should be a way to do away with the "Ads By Google" tagline.
