Default Can someone explain AdSense?

I'm thinking about starting a Google Adsense campaign but the whole thing confuses me! Is it best left to experts or can I realistically utilise it on a budget?

Can someone even tell me where to begin?

I think you mean Adwords campaign, Adsense is for publishers to display ads on their site and Adwords is for advertisers to show their ads.

I have limited experience of using Adwords, but it is quite easy and most of it is self explanatory.

Yeh its just publishing ads on your sites, then google gives you a small percentage of what advertizers give them to allocate a site to publish their ads. Its about 30 percent of what the advertizers pay adsense.

That is for clicked ads. Google Adsense will never pay you as publisher for just site impression or site display. There must be "valid" clicks.

Adsense is not just about earning from clicks. You earn from clicks and impressons. The amount of impression ads that get shown on your site mixed in with the cpc ads depends on how many advertisers have directly chosen your site to advertise on.

You could understand adsense easily but it takes atleast 3 months to get use to it, Many have flunked in adsense, and also many have flourished in adsense.

if you're talking about launching adsense on your site, it's free, no budget required, and you'll learn from experience. If you're talking about adwords, consult an expert for advice
