Why using adsense

I have no idea why webmasters using ad sense.
I can understand when you have a directory website to use ad sense. but when you put ad sense in your blog or/and website you are putting a link to your competitors, why is that to send people to your competitors site for 0.05 per click.
Some times webmasters spend up to 5$ per click "on adward or PPC" to lose this visitor for 0.05$ per click.
You can build your own ads to some affiliate products and earn more from these clicks.

i agree with u
i think in this way your competitor will get some traffic, they will not get back link benefit in search engine ( like Google ...) because it is a referral link, not a direct link from your site or blog

You guys must read adsense blog to understand the concept... Adsense is the best moneymaking online today if you are a starter... so why don't do a little research?

When i was new to the world of Online money making, i dont exactly believe that i could make money through blogs.. but when i started making blogs and put some adsense ads, it was the luckiest part of my life earning just $2 per day... it was worth the effort....

Mind you, its an advertising programme. Here are the ingredients of having a successful adsense website.

You must have

1. HIGH VOLUMES ( of traffic )
2. TARGETTING ADS
3. TESTING ( ad placements )

Do understand, Adsense is not an affiliate program. It is an advertising program. You put the code and you will get many targeted and relevant ads. When the users click on them, you get paid.

If you v=have another means of monetizing your site rather than Google Adsense but you still want to add adsense to your site, then the key is locating where visitors who came to your site but are not interested in what you have to offer can click on it and leave.

Adsense is for the marketer that has traffic they don't really understand.
It takes a bit more tact to be an affiliate. It's true spending money on Adwords and then directing traffic to Adsense is crazy. It's like "fools gold."
Some folk have traffic with out Adwords. I agree affiliate marketing or marketing your own product can be more secure, if you know what you're doing and it's really not difficult.

Adsense is the best program to earn money, With adsense you earn for almost each click even though it is low (depends on the niche). Also there is no guarantee that with each click you would get a sale with affiliate marketing. There may not be a sale for as many as 100 clicks.

Using adsense is not necessarily equal to sending traffic to competitors. First of all, just a few people click the ads. And 2nd, the ads on your site are not necessarily your competitors. For instance, you might talk about ropes in your blog and advertising for a rope store.
