Biggest adsense cheque.
What was/is the most valuable cheque you have received from google adsense?
I've seen people I know get them for just under $100, while the biggest I ever saw was in the thousands I think.

First one is impossible, google never send checks of less than US$ 100. The largest I have seen was at the shoemoney blog, hopefully one day my adsense check would be as big as his.

I have never had a check for under $100, but I know others has in the past. This is because when Adsense first started up they were paying people at the end of the year where it didn't matter if you had $100 or less, you would still have received your earnings.
They have stopped doing this now. I guess there was alot of work paying so many accounts that just had a few dollars in their adsense account.

Since the minimum is $100, why would anyone wait longer than that to request their money? Why would you wait until you had $1,000 in your account before requesting payout?

I don't quite think you understand unless I have got your post slightly wrong.
With Adsense and some other programs sometimes you don't request your money, this is because they pay you on certain day of every month once you have reached their minimum payout level. They pay you when they want to pay you and not when you want to get paid.
No matter how much you earn from Adsense, you will only get paid once a month for your earnings. They will never pay twice or more a month. So that is the reason why people receive large checks that are $5,000 or more.
One thing that I would never do is hold my earnings with Adsense. This is mainly due to the fact that the quicker I get earnings the quicker I can put it in the bank and get interest on it or invest it back into the sites and advertising.

I guess I didn't quite understand. I didn't know about the monthly thing, since I haven't reached payout yet (after 6 months or so). It makes much more sense now.

That's fine. I also learn new things everyday about affiliate marketing and adsense. I hope you get your first check soon. It must be quite annoying waiting so long for your first payout. It took me about 2 - 3 months I think before I reached the minimum payout level to receive my first check.

I recently got my $132 cheque for 6 months work. I took AdSense off once I reached the payment threshold - I'm now making a whole lot more with CPM & affiliate banners.

Me was $462 for one month. But big webmasters like myspace earn millions every day from using adsense. And they get paid on a different scale to us. E.g each hundred thousand instead of hundred.

I have received 4 checks already from Google Adsense since I started publishing Google Adsense in various websites about 2 years ago . However, my average check amount is only around $100 plus.

Hello ,
I started using Adsense January 1st and i was really impressed as i was making like 5-6$ per day ! I thought something should have been wrong and because i was reading a lot of other's posts saying that they were banned i also believed i would be banned soon but the truth is that im still an active adsense publisher and the biggest cheque ever was registered in May , 229$
Thanks
Olgi

Olgi, if you break any of Adsense's TOS then you are likely to get banned. If you follow all of their TOS then the chances of you getting banned will be not that high, but if you did get banned then it probably will be by their mistake or someone my have done something to your account, like a competitor or something.

How I see things is that if you are really serious about earning online from using contextual ads and other affiliate programs, then you really will follow their TOS and you will also make sure that if you see anything strange happening, then you will report it to your affiliate manager straight away. It is best to let them know so that you keep in their good books.
Also, it's best not to depend entirely on just one source of income, which is the same with sites. It's always best to not depend on just earning from one website.
