There are multiple licenses offered for a resell rights product, in this case an ebook.

1. Resell Rights - If you are buying one of these licenses for an ebook, it is usually sold by the author himself/herself for you to resell it.Thats about it. You cannot offer the book for resellin rights to your customers.

2. Private Label Rights - You buy the plr ebook and re-edit and re-write it for reselling. You can claim authorship for this book once you have done enough alterations to it. And you can offer your customers to resell the book.

3. Master Resell Rights - This is the type of license everyone's after but very limited in the market today. This is where the original author does not the rights and sell it you and in turn you sell it to others and others to others.Get it? In short you can practically do anything with it but they come with different terms from different MRR providers.BTW,The licenses does not come cheap.

Hope that gives everone an idea.
