This is what stinks about the internet, not just Google... anything you build can crumble to the ground at any time, without notice. eCommerce sites, affiliate sites, adsense sites... they are all vulnerable to various malicious acts. My internet marketing philosophy is to spread out your eggs as much as you can, more than you would with any other occupation. Don't have one or two websites earn all your money, spread it out across 10 or 20. So if one day BAM one of your adsense sites is tossed you still have a whole bunch of other sites still running.
