Craigslist is a buyer/seller site that is specific to different cities around the world. It started off in San Francisco I believe and has since become a phenomenon. You can find almost anything on there from Jobs, dating services, items for sale and general discussion.
How it relates to marketing is quite useful. Alot of affiliates post under "employment opportunities". They use tag lines like "make money from home" etc...
I'm not sure if it converts, but it's free so why not.
