Honestly, I don't know how Google Adsense gets away with paying it publishers so little. I used Adsense in the beginning and made terrible eCPMs. Try to get into Tribal Fusion, Viralytics Media or ValueClick. Those are the best ad networks. If you are persistent and have a clean site they will eventually let you in.
