Yes and no.
Sure, a site with a ton of great, keyword focused content will start to rise in the search results.
But, the content must be great too. For example, if somebody finds your listing in Google and clicks to visit your site, you want them to stay awhile. If the user clicks the "back" button in 2 seconds, Google will know they left your site immediately.
What you want is both, lots of keyword focused content pages AND great content that
people (not the search engines) actually
want to read.
