Adwords is getting harder than it was before but really the best way to learn is to buy a $100 coupon, you can usually get one at DP for pretty cheap and set your budget per day and cost per click low then create a bunch of different ad copies with different keywords and press go. After you play with it for a day then read stuff from the pros
