First, let me start off by saying that I will not provide SEO services for a site with poor content or a horrifically bad design. It just doesn't make sense to bring new traffic to a defective website site.

But when I am actually doing SEO I don't think "now its time to work on the contents quality." No, I optimize each page for its targeted keyword phrases both on and off page.

I encourage to the site owner to rewrite their content and use a sales funnel. This has worked very well for both my site and my clients.

In the end whether or not we agree about the connection between content and SEO it really doesn't matter. As long as you have quality content you will do well.

The real rub is what makes content quality!
