Here are some of my thoughts after having using google analytics for the past few weeks.
Here are some of the things which I liked about it:
- Gives very nice summaries of your visitors in a graphical way
- Detailed stats on referring sites, search engine keywords used to find your sites and a map overlay of your website
- Easy way of knowing what to tweak on your website
Here are some things which I didn't like:
- No individual visitor stats - you can only see a summary
- Slow to update stats (only every 2-5 hours)
- Sometimes slow to load pages
Overall, I would recommend it. It helps my site...
