When setting up a bid on individual key phrases, remember to always set the default to low like 10 cents just in case something goes wrong with the keyword bid... it will then select the default you have set up and if for some reason the default is set to 10 bucks.. then katie bar the door.... you do have some safety though, since google will only charge you one penny more than your next lowest competitor... so that gives some protection.
