You capture an e-mail by "bribing" your visitors (you can offer free e-book, e-mail corse or something really interesting for your visitors), build your e-mail list and this way you have got a permission from your customers/visitors to contact them distributing something interesting and usefull.
Don't forget, you must have an unsubscibe link to let your customers unsubscribe if they want to.
P.S. It's a very powefull way to make a profit online.
