One thing that comes through loud and clear in the responses. Don't get too scattered and bang around trying to get a half dozen different affiliate programs going at once. Pick one, make sure it will perform by keeping an eye on your stats and stay with it every day for a while. I need residual income, and immediate income...so I'm doing PPC and one affiliate program. I'm starting to index nicely on my PPC sites and I've got a little income building every day from affiliate. Eventually, I would rather just do PPC and do a good job of it. Right now, I'm just a little too overwhelmed by trying to do both...but I do need the cash now.
