You have got your answer right there in your question -)
But to break it down, links have different values for you, we have the traffic generator, sends alot of traffic, but lets make sure its traffic we want, people say digg etc is great, but imo it doesnt convert, and most of the SB's are the same, non convertors. Quick in and out traffic, makes you feel warm looking at your analytics but doesnt do much for your pocket (unless your selling ads based on numbers of course -)
We have the juice giver: High PR site, dofollow links which are gonna flow you alot of juice, these are great for SEO, but llets make sure we have our keywords in the links and ideally in the titles of the links also, and lets try to get them from related sites, do not underestimate the related sites concept.
We have a mixture, the traffic and pr all in one, now if you manage to get a link from a high traffic high PR site which is related to yours, then bish bash boosh I think we cracked it, this is the holy grail of links. It gives u good juice, it gives u a jump in serps and it sends you targetted traffic, of the right kind, but these are hard to come by!!! To say the least. Do what you can to get them though.
